• The full spectrum of surgical options to treat sleep apnea is often overlooked by many medical providers and patients.
• Otolaryngologists (ENT) and Oral-Maxillofacial surgeons do not have easy access to a comprehensive system that offer tiered or multifaceted therapeutic approaches to sleep apnea care, from which referrals can emanate and on which, perisurgical data and results can be made available to referring providers.
• ENT and Oral-Maxillofacial surgeons may need other sleep specialists, for multilevel apnea care, for treatment failures and the need for alternative treatments, or to assess for additional sleep disorders that may impede full patient satisfaction.
